This example deals with a three phase medium power transformer. Goal is to find the main characteristics e.g. power and efficiency under normal operating conditions.

Magnetics for NX/Simcenter calculates Ohm resistance, current distribution, temperature and more results on electric conductors and transformers. Also the precise calculation of inductivity for complex geometries is important for many electronic devices.
In this example we model magnetic hysteresis effects using the Jiles-Atherton vector hysteresis model.
